Context
In 2026, we aim to amplify regional experiences in global policy and advocacy spaces by launching a regional learning webinar series focussed on women, youth, and land governance. Based on that, we will leverage the global momentum of the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYRP) and the International Year of Women Farmers (IYWF).
The webinars will be held monthly for ILC members and partners to create structured spaces for peer exchange and connect members with ILC partners; through sharing experiences, tools, lessons learned and visibility of regional initiatives.
These global moments provide a strategic opportunity to:
- Elevate the leadership of women farmers and pastoralists
- Strengthen tenure security and economic empowerment
- Promote youth engagement and intergenerational learning
- Explore emerging issues as carbon and nature market in relation to land governance
